Gasadalur Waterfall, Faroe Islands

Gasadalur Waterfall, Faroe Islands
Gasadalur is one of the most remote communities in the Faroes, and a tunnel was only recently bored into the mountain to reach it. Prior to that it was accessible only by hiking over the mountain itself or by helicopter or boat. This photograph was made at night and the stars shine down over the waterfall and village.
