Description:
This image was made as part of the 2008 TG4 television series "I bhFócas". We were graciously granted permission by the Commissioners of Irish Lights to film at Tory Island lighthouse, and this is my favourite photograph from that visit.

Made with a wide-angle lens looking up at the lantern, it emphasises the height of the tower and the somewhat forbidding nature of the location.
