Description:
This image was made just to the east of White Park Strand, near Ballintoy on the Causeway Coast.
Bengore Head is the prominent and dramatically-shaped headland on the horizon, of which the Giant's Causeway is a part (out of view on the western side of the headland in this image, though).
The rocky foreshore leads the eye up to the setting sun, which peeks in under the trailing edge of a front that had dumped a steady supply of rain and mist all through the day. As if on cue, it started to clear about half an hour before sunset, producing fantastic conditions for photography.
