Description:
St. Finbar's Oratory is on an island in the middle of Lough Gougane Barra. In this, what I consider to be a definitive view, the building is shown in its spectacular environment.

Made on a Winter's morning, this is a high-resolution composite of 5 different images stitched together. I find the two triangular forms in the image make for a very strong composition - the lit area of the mountain, and the wedge of shadow covering the island itself.
