Ben Creggan and Trees, Doo Lough Valley, Co. Mayo
Award Details:* Gold Crest from the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) in 2008Description:
The Doo Lough Valley is one of my favourite places in Ireland. Situated in Mayo, just north of the Galway border it has a fantastically remote feel.
Low on the slopes of Barrclashcame in the Sheeffry range, this image was made looking to Ben Creggan in the South on a typical Connemara day.
